THE BEST PLANS, THE BEST PLANTS
The best levels of specific energy consumption achieved by some Indian cement plants, at 680 kcal/kg of clinker and 66 kWh/tonne of cement, are comparable with the best in the world.

RECYCLE, REUSE, REDUCE
The Indian Cement Industry is the largest consumer of fly ash produced by India's thermal power plants annually. It also consumes almost 100% of the slag produced by India's steel plants.

CLEANING CITIES
The Cement Industry burns urban and rural solid waste (as alternative fuel) in an eco-friendly manner. The high level of oxygen and a high burner flame temperature in excess of 2,000 degree Celsius ensure that waste is combusted completely and, therefore, ensures non-toxicity.
